Our Origins
In 2017, Tigres FC-Allen emerged as a recreational soccer club under the leadership of the visionary Head Coach Noe Reyes. Drawing inspiration from his passion for Liga MX UANL Tigres, he chose the name "Tigres" and adorned the team in the bold hues of blue and gold. From these humble beginnings, the Tigres legacy was set in motion.
A Transformational Journey:
The Tigres journey is marked by a metamorphosis of identity. From blue and gold in 2017, we transitioned through red and black in 2018, green and black in 2019, until our momentous transformation in 2020. That year, we adopted replica UANL Tigres uniforms, complete with sponsor branding, aligning us with the professionals we aspired to become.
Rising to the Challenge
Our competitive spirit ignited in the Fall of 2021, when we ventured into ASA championships. Despite an impressive undefeated season, a heart-wrenching 2-1 loss in the ASA championship game to SK-Kicks denied us the Tournament of Champions. Undeterred, we secured our first taste of victory in the McKinney Fall Tournament, emerging as champions.
Championing Success
Spring 2022 marked a turning point as Tigres blazed through the ASA league undefeated, sealing their first ASA championship by triumphing 3-1 over the Panthers. The victories didn't halt, as we carried our winning streak into the Fall of 2022, clinching the ASA standings' top spot and earning a shot at the Tournament of Champions.
Transition to New Horizons
Eager for greater challenges, Tigres sought to test its mettle in the Plano Sports Authority (PSA). Although our journey wasn't without its defeats, a rematch with the Ninjas in the PSA Championship saw us seize victory with a 2-1 scoreline. This marked a significant moment as Tigres was ready to embrace its next evolution, the move to competitive soccer.
Tigres FC-Allen is Born
Now, at the precipice of the 2023-2024 PPIL season, Tigres FC-Allen has emerged stronger than ever before, securing a Division 1 ranking in the Plano Premiere Invitational League (PPIL) placement tournament. Our commitment to success, resilience in the face of adversity, and camaraderie paved the way for the creation of a competitive club. Recognizable by our iconic blue and gold or the alternate black, white, and gold, inspired by UANL Tigres, we stand poised to leave an indelible mark in the world of North Texas soccer.
